Writing

Darron Davies works as a freelance writer, alongside his staff development work. He has written extensively promoting creative teaching within schools. This has included the Creative Teaching Space – which has evolved into the In Clued Ed Blog – as well as web-based and published articles.

Darron has written resources for the Tasmanian Education Department, in the implementation of a new statewide curriculum, as well as other organisations. His writing focuses on strategies that can be used to engage students in learning. Darron believes strongly in a conceptual base for learning – one that gets to the very heart of why we should ask questions and learn about a subject.

The Creative Teaching Space

The Creative Teaching Space is a magazine dedicated to raising ideas and suggestions for creative teaching practice. It is based on my experience in teaching and my staff development work with teachers. It has, in recent times, evolved into the In Clued Ed weblog.
